Address
Mayarí. Mayarí. Holguín
Description
Very significant place because of its highly valuable archeological caves. Evidences of proto-archaic culture have been found in such caves. They have a well-preserved pictography, drawn in black and white, with an abstract style and lineal stroke. The place was discovered by Dr. A. Nuñez Jimenez in 1939, who explored several times the area, which is considered the most archaic indigenous settlement of Cuba.
