Havana.- Artists from about a dozen countries will take part in the 11th International Summer Circus Festival in Cuba (CIRCUBA).
According to the organizers, artists from Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Venezuela and Cuba will participate in the festival.
The clown Alan Pagnota will be representing Brazil on behalf of the company Unicirco, as well as the juggler Briand Dresdner; the Colombian artist Carolina Ramírez will perform in corde pareille.
Meanwhile, Cañonazo and Tequila, representing El Salvador, will perform with their trained animals; the contortionist Andrea Narváez, Héctor Wong and the clown Rulo will come from Mexico.
The 10th Festival in 2011 was attended by about 100 artists from 14 countries; the Chinese artists won the Grand Prize and the award for best women’s act.
