Cuban Choir to Perform in South America

Havana.- The Cuban choir Schola Cantorum Coralina, one of the most renowned choral groups in the Caribbean Island, will perform in South America this month.

According to experts, the group will participate in the 2nd International Choirs Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Founded more than a decade ago, Schola Cantorum Coralina has an extensive repertoire that includes baroque, sacred, classical and Cuban contemporary music.

The choir has performed in several contests and festivals in Europe, Canada and Latin America, where it has received many awards and acknowledgements.

On this occasion, Schola Cantorum Coralina will also perform in the Chilean cities of Valparaíso, Viña del Mar, Santiago and La Serena.

The choir is composed of five sopranos, five bass and contralto singers, and four tenors.
