Cubana de Aviación to Open New Route
Monday, November 5, 2007

Havana.- Cuba's flag airline, Cubana de Aviación, will open a new route to South America to meet the growing demand for plane tickets to that region.

That way, the Cuban airline will fly every week between Havana and Rosario (Argentina), with a stopover in Córdoba, in January and February.

Executives from the company Ola pointed out that the recovery of the travel sector has allowed Cubana de Aviación to open the new route.

Argentine tourists can buy six- and 13-day vacation packages to Cuba.

The former includes two nights in Havana and four nights in Varadero, Cuba's main beach resort, while the latter offers several combinations.

Cubana de Aviación's planes can seat 258 passengers in the tropical class, which is the equivalent of the executive class.
