Cuban Women's Handball Team at World Championship |

Havana.- The Cuban women's team will participate in the Handball World Championship, set for early December in Brazil.
Cuban sports officials pointed out that the Cuban team will play its first game against Brazil.
On this occasion, the Cuban players will try to defeat Tunisia and Japan to move ahead to the next round in a group that also includes Brazil, Iran, Romania and France.
The Cuban team, coached by Lorenzo González, is headed by goal keepers Eneyleidis Guevara, Yesenia Aldama and Maydelis Sardiñas.
It also includes Lizandra Luzón, Zuleikis Gómez, Yemma Ramírez, Yasnay Turro, Mariset Fernández, Maylín Martínez, Maydolis Plumier, Lisandra Espinosa, Naddessa Varela, Ariagnis Cuesta, Milena Mesa and Raisa Beltrán.
