Havana.- Cuba will participate in the upcoming edition of the Wrestling Pan-American Tournament, in the freestyle and Greco-Roman styles, to be held in the United States,
The Greco-Roman style delegation is headed by Mijaín López, gold medalist in the 120-kg division in the Beijing Olympics in 2008, and includes Pedro Isaac Mulens (66 kg), Pablo Shorey (84), Javier Duménigo (55), Ismael Borrero (60), Yasmany Lugo (96) and Alexei Bell (74).
The freestyle team is made up of Alfredo Cisneros (55 kg), Yowlis Bonne (60), Yunierky Blanco (74), Luis Mario Miranda (84), Javier Cortina (96) and Disney Rodríguez (120).
Cuban experts pointed out that the tournament will contribute to the wrestlers' training to qualify for the Olympic Games in London this summer.
