Havana.- Cuba is presenting this month and exhibition of the most recent productions of Spanish movies, including 18 films of different genres.
According to organizers, this 4th exhibition will be presented in 14 provinces of the country and is composed of nine feature-length films, two documentaries and seven short-length films.
The list includes films like “Pa Negre” (Black Bread), winner of nine Goya awards in 2010 to best movie, best director and best actress, among others.
Likewise, other films that stand out in the exhibition are “Blackthorn” (2011); “Eva” (2011); “No lo llames amor, llámalo X” (Don’t Call It Love, Call It X), 2010; “Chico and Rita” (2010), “También la lluvia” (Also the Rain), 2010; Intruders (2011); Cousins (2011) and Verbo (2011).
The fiction short-length films are “Ya no puede caminar” (Can’t Walk Anymore), by Luis Alejandro Berdejo in 2001; “7:35 de la mañana” (7:35 in the Morning), 2003; “El tren de la bruja” (The Witch’s Train), 2003; “La dama y la muerte” (The Lady and Death); “Eramos pocos” (We Were Few), 2005; and “Un novio de mierda” (A Shitty Boyfriend), 2010.
