Cuba Strengthens Sport Cooperation with East Timor |

Havana.- Cuban sport authorities penned a collaboration agreement with East Timor, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The agreement resumes the mutual exchanges in disciplines such as boxing, track and field, and volleyball which started in 2011 and were interrupted a year later.
In this sense, the contract can be extended for a year at the end of each period.
Likewise, the arrival of three Cuban coaches is expected in Dili this May in order to start the cooperation.
According to experts, East Timor has all the necessary conditions for developing in a short term high-performance athletes who could represent their country in regional and international events.
