Cuban Tourist Option in Mexico |

Havana.- The Mexican market has a new tourist option after the inclusion of direct flights from the Federal District to Cayo Santa María.
This option will start operating in the summer, together with increased promotions of Cuba´s leisure destinations such as Havana and Varadero.
Aeromexico will be the airline in charge of operating a weekly frequency, starting on July 19, to Cayo Santa María in the central area of the island.
The initiative involves tour operators like Euromundo, Proturs, Viñales Tours, Solways Mexico, Merely Tours and Taino Tours which are all interested in extending the flights beyond August.
In order to visit Cayo Santa María tourists had to arrive in Havana first, and then proceed on a five-hour road trip or a 40-minute flight to get to the key.
