Pinar del Rio Recuperates Lodging Facilities |

Havana.- The medicinal bath resort of San Diego de los Baños, in the western province of Pinar del Río, increases its lodging facilities with the recuperation of the Libertad hotel.
The facility benefited from a restoration program including the replacement of the woodwork, the reconditioning of the bathrooms, the transformation of outdoor areas and the repair of the lobby and the restaurant.
Experts mentioned that the kitchen and storage areas had to be demolished, due to the high deterioration level, to construct them again.
The hotel gives priority to people who need treatment at the medicinal baths which are famous for their mineral-medicinal waters.
The repair of the Libertad hotel is included in a comprehensive project aimed at boosting tourist development in Los Organos Mountain Range, which also includes the reactivation of La Güira Park.
