Cuban Judokas to Pan American Championship in Ecuador |

Havana.- The main Cuban judokas will compete at the Pan American Championship of the discipline to be held in Guayaquil, Ecuador, from April 26 to 28.
Experts of the discipline emphasized the importance of the tournament which grants, together with the one next year, points to the ranking list and to the Pan American Games in Canada.
The Cuban women´s team includes the Olympic and world medal winners Yanet Bermoy in the 52-kilogram division and Idalys Ortiz (+78 kilogram), as well as Aliusca Ojeda (57), Olga Masferrer (70), Dayaris Mestre (44), María Celia Laborde (48), Maricet Espinosa (63) and Yalennis Castillo (78).
Meanwhile, the men´s team is composed of Janiel Peña (60), Iván Silva (81), Andy Granda (90) and Oscar Brayson (+100), the latter is the only gold medal winner at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara.
The team is completed by Yandri Torres (55), Gilberto Solar (66), Magdiel Estrada (73) and José Armenteros (100).
