Cuban Women´s Basketball Team to Play Practice Games against China |

Havana.- The Cuban women´s basketball team will play three practice games against the top Chinese team in late April.
The Cuban team, composed of 13 athletes, will play against China´s on April 25, 27 and 29, as part of their respective training for the world championship in Turkey.
Yamara Amargo, selected as the most valuable player at the Americas Pre-World Championship held in Mexico last year, leads the Cuban team.
Oyanaisis Gelis, Isneidis Casanova, Arlenis Romero, Leidis Oquendo, Taimí Fernández, Marlene Cepeda, Arletis Povea, Arlenys González, Anay García, Anisleidis Galindo, Edith Thompson and Lisdeivis Martínez complete the Cuban roster.
Previous to the world championship, the Cuban players will take part in the Monterrey Centro-Basketball championship in Mexico, and in a tournament in Spain from June 13 to 18.
