Havana.- The Hotel Nacional de Cuba, an emblematic tourist facility in this capital, stands out for its attractions and high-quality services in eight decades of operations.
Inaugurated in December 1930, the five-star hotel offers 439 rooms distributed on seven stories.
Its gardens hold well-preserved vestiges of the Santa Clara Battery, which was declared, along with Havana's historic heart, Humankind's Heritage in 1982.
The rooms, halls and gardens of the establishment, considered one of the top 25 Palace Hotels in the World, hold about 100 patrimonial works.
For ten years, until 2013, the Hotel Nacional de Cuba was granted the World Travel Award in the Caribbean as the Leading Hotel of Cuba's tourism, among other acknowledgements.
