Colombian Airline to Increase Flights to Cuba
Monday, July 28, 2014

Havana.- The Colombian airline Avianca, among the oldest in the world, will increase operations in Cuba with a weekly flight between Bogotá and Havana.

That way, the company will run five flights a week using Airbus A318 planes with a capacity of 100 seats, including 12 in the Executive Class and 88 in the Tourist Class.

In addition, Avianca operates a direct flight between Lima and Havana on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and another flight between San Salvador and Havana six times a week.

Under these conditions, the company has improved its connectivity with Havana, offering the possibility of connecting flights with more than 98 destinations in the Americas and Europe.

That strategy consolidates Avianca's presence in the Caribbean as an airline that operates direct flights to destinations such as Aruba, Cancun, Curacao, Punta Cana, San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Santo Domingo.
