Cuba to Host Int'l Forum on Orthopedics |

Havana.- The city of Trinidad, in central Cuba, will host the debates on current trends in orthopedics, as part of the 25th International Congress on Orthopedics and Traumatology, scheduled from August 22 to 27.
Participants will discuss their experiences in operating on children's deformities, sports traumas and back pain.
According to organizers, some 350 delegates from Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Italy, Mexico, Spain, China, Argentina, Germany, France and Japan, in addition to Cuba, have confirmed participation in the congress.
A commercial fair with two dozen exhibitors, including 19 foreigners, will take place parallel to the event.
The forum is sponsored by the Cuban Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, the Mexican Federation of Orthopedic Colleges and the International Society of Orthopedic and Traumatologic Surgery.
