Cuban Dance Company Performs in Belgium |

Havana.- The folkloric company Camagua, from the eastern Cuban province of Camagüey, was highly acclaimed in Belgium.
The group participated in the 40th International Folkloric Festival in Bonheiden, where it presented the shows "Por los Campos de Mi Cuba" and "Cubanísimo".
In addition, the members of Camagua taught Cuban traditional dances and songs to children, as well as the variety and designs of their costumes.
The performances in Belgium were part of a European tour that also included their participation in Danses et Musiques d'ailleurs in France, an event sponsored by the International Council of Organizations of Folkloric Festivals and Traditional Arts.
The company has its origin in the folkloric group Maraguán, founded in 1981 by amateur artists from the University of Camagüey.
