Cuba: 472 Athletes Qualify for Veracruz-2014 |

Havana.- A total of 472 Cuban athletes have qualified for the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz, Mexico, this year.
Cuban sports authorities pointed out that more athletes have possibilities to qualify for the regional games in such sports as track and field, swimming and skating.
In that regard, Cuba plans to take about 540 athletes in 34 sports to the games.
Cuba will not compete in 120 sports but its athletes are expected to win 324 sets of medals.
The final composition of the Cuban delegation will be announced in mid October.
