Havana.- The National Museum of Fine Arts, in the Cuban capital, won the 2014 Certificate of Excellence, granted by TripAdvisor for Business every year.
The said website is the largest in the world that allows travelers to plan and enjoy customized trips.
According to experts, the award is an acknowledgement of the quality of services provided by the Museum and was based on the opinions and comments of travelers.
The National Museum of Fine Arts owns one of the largest collections of paintings and sculptures in Latin America and it is the largest museum in the insular Caribbean region.
Its collection is made up of more than 45,000 works of art, in addition to the world's largest collection of Cuban art and artworks by prominent European artists.
