Archeological Proposal in the Cuban Capital
Monday, November 24, 2014

Havana.- The Cabinet of Archeology, attached to the Office of the Historian of Havana, presented the 10th edition of the Yearbook, which experts describe as a valuable cultural instrument.

Elements such as the old streetcars' lines in the city are included in the Yearbook, which is essential for scientific knowledge and archeological art.

According to experts, this catalog updates a synthesis of the field work in Cuba on the ground, shores and docks.

The Yearbook contains 243 illustrations, some of which are color pictures, based on the results of research works by Cuban archeologists.

The text pays tribute to shipbuilders and, especially, to the members of the Firefighters' Corps of Havana who died in a fire in the Isasi y Cia. hardware store.
