Cuba Boosts Construction of Community Gymnasiums |

Havana.- Cuban sports authorities in the eastern province of Camagüey are working to build more bio-healthy gymnasiums.
The project consists of building a plant to make the equipment necessary to create 12 bio-healthy gymnasiums in the communities.
Local production of equipment to develop, strengthen and maintain the muscles will allow saving hard currency from the domestic economy.
At present, Camagüey has 23 bio-healthy gymnasiums equipped with Chinese-made apparatuses, each of which costs an average of 3,500 dollars.
In addition, sports authorities are working on the remodeling of multiple-use courts to practice basketball, volleyball, handball, mini-football, tennis and badminton.
