Cultural and Historic Heritage for Tourism in Eastern Cuba |

Havana.- Rescuing the cultural and historic heritage in eastern Cuba is part of a strategy to develop the tourism industry to meet the growing demands from the sector.
In that direction, works are under way to remodel inns in the cities of Gibara and Holguín, thus increasing the accommodation capacities in the region.
The inns, which are run by the chain Hoteles Encanto, will meet international quality standards to receive foreign visitors.
Among the facilities being remodeled is the Hotel La Caballeriza, in the city of Holguín, which will have 14 rooms, a breakfast nook, inner patio and commercial area.
At the same time, La Arsénica, in the municipality of Gibara, will offer 12 rooms, which will be incorporated into the lodging potential of that Cuban city.
