More Foreign Tourists Visit Spanish Destinations |

Madrid.- Spain's tourist destinations received 6.5 million foreign vacationers in the first two months of 2015.
According to sources from the tourism sector, that number accounts for a 4.5-percent increase in tourist arrivals, compared to the same period in 2014.
The tourist-sending markets that reported increases in the number of vacationers are Italy (20.4 percent), the United States (18.7), Switzerland (9.4), Belgium (8.6) and Portugal (8.3).
In January and February, 82.5 percent of tourist arrivals were reported in airports, while 16 percent of tourists arrived by road.
In addition, 64.1 percent of vacationers stayed at hotels, while 35.9 percent preferred other modalities of accommodation.
