Cuban Taekwondo Fighters to Compete in Pan-Am Games in Toronto

Havana.- Cuba's best taekwondo fighters will compete in the Pan-American Games in Toronto, Canada, in July.

The Pan-American Taekwondo Union allowed 109 competitors from 29 countries to compete in all four Olympic divisions for men and women.

In the women's event, 52 competitors will fight, while 57 men will compete for medals.

That way, Cuba will be represented by four women and three men, as no male fighter will compete in the 58-kg division.

The countries that will compete with full teams are Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and the United States, while Venezuela and Cuba will take seven competitors.
