New Spaces for Handicrafts in Central Cuba |

Havana.- The central Cuban province of Cienfuegos will benefit from the services of Palacio del Blanco, where local handicrafts will be promoted.
The building, remodeled by local artists and authorities, will allow organizing exhibitions and training courses, among other initiatives.
Experts said that it is an attractive place due to the good preservation of its cultural values as an exponent of domestic architecture from the late 19th century.
The building has neoclassic elements, such as the Tuscan pilasters and the decorated cornice, as well as imperial staircases.
Remodeling works included the roof, walls, staircases, hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as the replacement of carpentry and floor tiles.
