Havana.- The Russian State Museum of Saint Petersburg will have a space dedicated to it in Havana's historic heart, as part of the strengthening of relations between the two countries.
As part of the project, a building in Old Havana will be remodeled by institutions from the two countries to house the museum.
At the same time, a virtual branch of the Russian institution is available at the National Museum of Fine Arts, so that Cubans can learn about the Russian museum's main attractions.
The Museum of Saint Petersburg is the second of its kind in Russia with a collection of more than 400,000 artworks distributed in six buildings, including works by Picasso, Van Gogh and Gauguin.
Collaboration in the field of art will also allow the two countries to exchange exhibitions in a short term after their interests are identified.
