Some 387 Cuban Athletes Qualify for Pan-American Games |

Havana.- Some 387 Cuban athletes have qualified for the upcoming edition of the Pan-American Games, scheduled for July in Toronto, Canada.
Officials from the Cuban National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) noted that the final delegation might consist of up to 480 competitors.
Among the qualified athletes there are 194 women and 193 men, including several competitors in track and field.
Taking into consideration the high quality of Brazil, where the Olympic Games will be held in 2016, Cuba must seek maximum performances in track and field, boxing, wrestling, rowing, shooting and judo.
The final training involves several institutions, including the Sports Medicine Institute.
