Tribute to Charles Chaplin in Havana |

Havana.- The Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC) and local cultural institutions organized a festival to pay tribute to Charles Chaplin.
The program to honor the actor, producer, composer and moviemaker includes the screening of several of his most emblematic films, including "The Kid".
Considered an exceptional film by critics, the motion pictures deals about an abandoned baby who is found on the street by a vagabond who decides to adopt him and raise him.
In addition, the Cinematheque of Cuba will exhibit the short films "Behind the Scenes", "The Immigrant", "The Pawnshop", "The Fireman", "By the Sea" and "The Rink".
Parallel to the tribute, an international forum on the circus, a symphonic concert and exhibitions of posters, paintings and objects related to Chaplin will be held, thanks to the collaboration of the Australian collector Paddy McDonald.
