Medical Professionals Graduate in Havana
Monday, July 27, 2015

Havana.- The University of Medical Sciences of Havana graduated 1,700 medical professionals this year, having a positive impact on people's quality of life.

According to statistics, 600 graduates come from 36 countries, as part of the project known as the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM, in Spanish) and other programs with Brazil, Ecuador, the United States, Guatemala, Panama and Peru.

It is worth noting that the third group of students from the People's Republic of China graduated this year.

The graduates from the 2014-2015 school year will receive their diplomas in such specialties as Medicine, Stomatology, Health Technology, Nursing and Psychology.

In late July, the headquarters of ELAM will see off the foreign students, who studied here as part of Cuba's collaboration with other countries.
