Cuban Artist Nominated to 2015 Latin Grammy Awards |

Havana.- The list of nominees to the 2015 Latin Grammy Awards includes several Cuban artists.
Among the nominees to that acknowledgement, granted every year by the US Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, are the musicians Alain Pérez and Iván Melón Lewis, along with Septeto Santiaguero.
Iván Melón Lewis, a pianist, composer and jazz musician of exceptional quality, was nominated in the categories Best New Artist and Best Latin Jazz Album.
In the Best Tropical Traditional Album category, the CDs "Tributo a Los Compadres No Quiero Llanto" and "El Alma del Son-Tributo a Matamoros", by José Alberto, El Canario, and Septeto Santiaguero and Alain Pérez, respectively, were nominated.
In the audiovisual category, the video clip "Ojos Color Sol", a song by Calle 13 and Silvio Rodríguez, was nominated as the Best Musical Video Short Version.
