Cuba to Host Judo Grand Prix in 2016 |

Havana.-Cuba will host the Judo Grand Prix next year, as an acknowledgement of the development of that sport in the country.
The president of the International Judo Federation, Marius Vizer, expressed confidence in the success of the event.
During a visit to Cuba, Vizer pointed out that he was certain that it will be a great event and ratified his confidence in the capacity of the organizing committee.
In that regard, he recalled that the IJF invests more than 500,000 dollars in the Grand Prix, but results certify that outlay to promote that sport.
The Grand Prix, scheduled from January 22 to 24, 2016, will bring together the best judokas of the world, including those from Asia.
