Cuba Produces Inputs for Sugar Industry |

Havana.- The company Planta Mecánica, in the central Cuban province of Villa Clara, is supplying spare parts for the sugar industry.
The plant is expected to supply nearly 400 spare parts for sugar factories nationwide this month to guarantee maintenance prior to the sugarcane harvest.
Planta Mecánica is working in conjunction with the commercializing company Azumat to support the rehabilitation of processing capacities.
The factory makes crowns, pinions, hammers, knives and flanges, among other parts demanded by sugar factories.
Planta Mecánica has signed major contracts with other Cuban industries like Antillana de Acero, ACINOX Las Tunas, Empresa Industrial Ferroviaria, in Cárdenas, and Rayonitro, Matanzas.
