Three Million Tourists in Cuban Destinations |

Havana.- Several tourist destinations in Cuba totaled three million international visitors 45 days prior to 2016.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, this behavior represents a significant 18-percent increase compared with the previous year.
The institution also confirmed that Canada remained the main tourist-sending market, with 1.110 million vacationers and a year growth of 13 percent.
Meanwhile, the countries of the Old Continent marked an overall upturn of 25 percent, while Latin America´s arrivals increased by around 20 percent.
Several factors influenced this growth, including the restoration of diplomatic relations between Cuba and the United States, a higher quality in the sector and the private sector contribution to tourism.
