Cuban Osleni Guerrero Stands Out in International Badminton |

Havana.- Cuban Osleni Guerrero, badminton leading figure on the island, won the title in the IX International Tournament of this discipline in Suriname.
The representative of the Caribbean nation beat US Howard Shu in the final match in two straight sets, with a score of 21-11 and 21-16.
Thus, Guerrero won his third championship in this tournament in a row, while adding 2,500 points for the world ranking.
Now ranked 71 in the international standings and among the continent´s leaders, the Cuban won in 2013 and 2014 by beating Czech Jan Frohlich (21-11, 21-18) and host Soeroredjo Virgil (21-12, 21-16), respectively.
After this event, Guerrero will attend the Grand Prix of Brazil, which will award the winner 5,000 units for the world listing.
