Havana.- The Cuban group Septeto Santiaguero, of recognized work in traditional music, will perform next June at the Lincoln Center in New York (United States).
The island’s group will arrive as part of the annual show Midsummer Night Swing, which also includes the genres salsa, disco, tango and swing.
The agenda includes a tour in Venezuela with performances in Barquisimeto, Aragua and Caracas, with the Dominican salsa singer Jose Alberto "El Canario" as a guest.
In May, the ensemble will perform in Havana next to "El Canario", during the local Cubadisco International Fair.
The group is invited to the new production discography of Omara Portuondo and is also working on recording an album under the name Root.
