Cuban Charcoal for European Customers |

Havana.- The province of Ciego de Avila concentrates efforts on the export of charcoal to European customers, in order to overcome the 28,000 tons engaged in 2015.
In this work are involved companies Agroindustrial Ceballos, Forestal Integral, Harvesting, Wildlife and Communal Services, to which agricultural La Cuba and El Mambi are added.
According to sources in the agricultural sector, 300 containers each month are billed to Italy, Spain France, Turkey and other nations.
Agroindustrial Ceballos leads the supply of the product with annual averages of 25,000 tons, while processing volumes from Sancti Spiritus, Ciego de Avila, Camaguey, Las Tunas and Granma.
Marabou is used as basic raw material, plant affecting the agricultural land on the island, hence the benefit that this production represents.
