Health Care Will Improve in Camagüey
Monday, June 27, 2016

Havana.- Manuel Ascunce hospital, in the eastern province of Camaguey, improves assistance to the population through an extensive investment program.

The center hopes to run this year's work by a value exceeding one million Cuban pesos, which will install a new incinerator and reorganize services.

According to experts, the incinerator is environmentally friendly, it does not pollute the environment since it regulates the emission of gases, and is placed where the old crematorium, already obsolete.

It also works on rehabilitation of the gastroenterology service, where equipment available for endoscopy, colonoscopy and retrograde cholangiopancreatography (endoscopic examination of biliary tract and pancreas) are.

In general, the territory will allocate about 20 million pesos for investment and maintenance of health units in the province.
