Havana.- Campismo Popular, type of tourism linked to nature, gains reputation in the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba.
The territory has six facilities for the leisure option, which guarantee vacationers to enjoy the attractions of beaches, rivers and fields.
The aforementioned foundations operate under the names of Caletón Blanco, Playa Larga, Las Golondrinas, La Mula, Loma Blanca and international villa El Salton.
The latter, located in an area of the Sierra Maestra, allows access to the river that feeds the waterfall and swimming holes like La Corina, El Haitiano and La Fuente.
The proposals also include mountain climbing, tours of historical sites, hiking, horseback riding, biking and jeep-safari.
