Growing Flow of Visitors to Destinations in Uruguay |

Montevideo.- The various tourist destinations in Uruguay received in the first five months of 2016 up to 1.149,517 million visitors, attracted essentially by the capital and Punta del Este.
Sources in the entertainment industry in the South American country indicated that growth from January to May reached 7.3 percent compared to the previous year.
The authorities recalled the 2016 promotional campaign gave priority to children and teen-agers, with a view to achieving new recreational options.
For this purpose, various platforms, including the use of audiovisual and print media of national character, radios across the country and social networks are used.
They also work in shaping the regional network called the Pajaros Pintados Corridor, which diversifies and complements the supply of thermals.
