Havana.- Cuban Larduet Manrique, leading exponent of artistic gymnastics in the country, excels in the Latin American region after being included in three of the existing finals.
The island´s representative discussed the title in the horizontal bar test, parallel and a maximum accumulator, to be included among the best of the sport, internationally.
An injury affected the performance of the athlete, despite which he showed the prospects for the main figure on the planet.
Individually, the medals in the parallel bars went to Ukraine's Oleg Verniaiev (16,041), United States' Danell Leyva (15.900) and Russia's David Belyavskiy (15,783).
Artistic gymnastics ended with the British gymnasts as the kings among men with two gold, one silver and two bronze medals, followed by Japan (2-0-1) and Ukraine (1-1-0).
