Legacy of José Martí to Debate at UNESCO
Monday, August 29, 2016

Havana.- The United Nations Organization for Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will host the debate on the legacy of José Martí.

The forum, scheduled for November at the headquarters of the institution, will be attended by academics, social activists and specialists to exchange around the life and work of the Apostle of the Cuban independence.

This forum also constitutes a recognition of the achievements of Jose Marti Solidarity Project, emerged in the heat of the International Conference for World Balance.

Since its inception in 2003, the José Martí Project has held in Havana -on five occasions- international symposiums World Equity and With All and for the Good of All.

Thanks to these events the dissemination of ideas of Martí, together with the creation of specialized lectures in several universities are encouraged.
