Cuban Baseball Player Reaches 100 Homeruns

Havana.- Cuban Yosvani Alarcón entered the club of players with 100 homers in national baseball series, achieved in 11 editions of the event.

Now integrated into the team of Las Tunas Loggers, Alarcon leads the 55th National Series with 17 complete-turn connections in the regular season and three in the postseason.

Experts recalled that in 2009 he got the figure of 26 home runs, the best mark achieved by a receiver in the history of national baseball.

In addition, on October 21st 2015, he registered an offensive performance to remember in the discipline after connecting four full-turn balls.

Leadership in national series correspond to Orestes Kindelan with 487 runs, followed by Lazaro Junco and Omar Linares 405 (404), all retired from active sports.
