London.- Royal Caribbean, which specializes in cruise tourism, recorded in the first half of this year profit close to $ 329 million.
This amount represents an increase of 43 percent compared to the same period the year 2015.
The company also accumulated a total turnover from January to June of 4.023 billion dollars, with an annual rise of 3.9 percent.
Of that total, 2.894 billion corresponded to passages sales, while 1.128 billion dollars were generated by spending on board and other incomes.
The figures also showed operating expenses for 2.552 billion dollars and an increase of 0.5 percent, while expenditures for fuel were $ 596 million.
