Cuba Attends Pediment International Sub-22 Event |

Havana.- Four representatives from Cuba will attend the ninth edition of the World 36 meters-pediment Championship in the sub-22 category, located in Biarritz, France.
Cuban squad has Yoel Vega and Ronald Zayas in short shovel and trowel with leather ball tests, while and Reynaldo Valdes and Jorge Luis Barcelán will compete in hand.
Cuban experts on the island indicated that facing the contest they made a good preparation, in order to access the discussion of medals in all modes.
It is worth mentioning that the island is absent from the awards podium in this category since 2004 on the shovel and trowel leather and since 1999 in hand.
The event will involve about 100 players from nine countries, and the main favorites to win are France, Mexico and Spain.
