Havana.- The Siboney Studios, from the Recordings and Musical Editions Company (EGREM) in eastern Cuba, will assume the recording of a new album by the Septeto Turquino.
The group, among the most outstanding of popular and traditional music of the island, will include in the phonogram various genres of Cuban heritage.
Among them are son, guarachas, boleros and guaguancó of the authors Manuel Corona, Cheo Belén Puig, Walberto (Bebeto) Ferrer, William Cobas, Aníbal Avila and Rolando Ferrer.
In addition, there will be pieces such as Linked with the Son, Oh! My God, Complaint of Love and What Friend, among the 11 themes provided in the album.
Belonging to the Son of Cuba catalog of the EGREM label, the Septeto Turquino was founded in 1982 by students of the Universidad de Oriente.
