Legal Rules in Favor of Birth in Cuba |

Havana.- The Cuban authorities adopted legislation of a legal nature in favor of birth, with a view to curb the aging of the population.
In that sense, mechanisms will be applied to extend the protection and benefits of maternity, in an effort to contribute to the stimulation of fertility.
In addition, it aims to regulate the incorporation and reincorporation to the woman´s work, as well as the participation of other relatives in the care and attention of the minors.
Among the changes, it will be extended to the maternal or paternal grandparents, who are workers, the ease of care of the child until his first year of life.
Coupled with this, if the working mother receives two remunerations for having more than one job, either in her or a different entity, she is entitled to receive the economic and social benefit for each of the contracts.
