Foreign Presence in International Video Art Event

Havana.- The VII edition of the International Video Art Festival, based in the eastern province of Camagüey, will bring together works by authors from 24 countries.

According to the organizers, 79 audiovisuals from Venezuela, Mexico, United States, Spain, Germany, France, Great Britain and Japan are expected to be included in the competition stage.

In addition, from Iran, South Africa, Togo, Australia and Cuba, the latter the most represented in the contest, with 15 works, along with about 80 out-of-competition displays.

Among the personalities who ensured their presence as speakers are the Spanish Antonio Orduño, who will speak on videoart meetings of low cost.

The guest list also includes Dannys Montes de Oca, director of the Wifredo Lam Art Center and the Havana Biennial, which will present the next edition of the forum in 2018.
