Cuba Excels in International Sailing Events |

Havana.- Athletes from Cuba made a notable performance in international sailing competitions held in the Caribbean region.
In the first engagements of 2017, Sanly Castro was awarded the gold medal in a Laser Radial (f) tournament that took place on the island of Martinique.
Representatives from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, France, Guadeloupe and the hostesses also took part in this competition.
Meanwhile, in the Bahamas the crew of Raúl Díaz (skipper) and Carlos Esposito (Grummet) won the first place and the gold medal in the Snipe test (m).
The next international commitment will be in the United States, with the two stages of a major Snipe class A tournament and the participation of Diaz and Espósito in the Mid Guinter, Miami and Tampa races.
