Cuban Sports Looking for Experiences Abroad
Monday, March 27, 2017

Havana.- Cuban sports ended 2016 with the signing of 61 contracts in various disciplines to act abroad, as part of the development strategy of the activity.

According to experts, during the analyzed period, 200-300 athletes were temporarily inserted in tournaments, training bases or leagues abroad.

In that work, the priority is to get athletes to raise their technical skills, to clash against the best in their respective disciplines and to increase their results.

It also seeks to raise the level of training of coaches and improve the living conditions of all who take part in that option and their families.

Each athlete hired leaves Cuba with a rigorous medical examination, an anti-doping test and knowledge of their contractual and tax obligations.
