Private Sector Supports Expansion of Cuban Tourism |

Havana.- The Cuban tourist industry finds the support of the private sector for its expansion, having accommodation spaces that allow to face a greater influx of visitors.
In the case of the eastern province of Camagüey, the rental houses received in 2016 about 28,000 more tourists compared to the previous year.
That figure represents an increase of 58 percent compared to what was recorded in 2015, and shows the marked interest generated by Cuba in the last three years.
It is worth mentioning that some 80 rental houses already have contracts with the state sector for the provision of services, which complements the potential of the hotels in the territory.
It should be mentioned that Camagüey is the second province with the highest growth in the country in terms of accommodation of tourists in rooms of the non-state sector.
