Havana.- Cuban music arrives this month at the Lehman Center in New York thanks to the group Septeto Santiaguero, promoter of various traditional genres of the island.
According to the program, the group is expected to perform songs from the album No Quiero Llanto: Tributo a los Compadres, which won a Latin Grammy Award for Best Traditional Tropical Album in 2015.
The specialists indicated that the orchestra is recognized for attending demonstrations such as son, guaracha, bolero, trova and changüí, among others.
On this occasion, the Septeto Santiaguero will make available to the public titles of its most recent record production Raíz, by the Recordings and Musical Editions Company (EGREM).
The group, created in 1995, is considered an outstanding exponent of the traditional music of the island, collected in diverse record productions.
